We had a wonderful teacher, Judy Peppers, come and teach us Lampwork Bead Making.
There were 9 students in the class and we had a ball. None of us turned out any beads as
good as Judy's but we sure tried. Below are some pictures from that class.
Jo, owner of Horse Feathers is diligently trying to get a round bead, haha.
In the background, you can see Jennifer Watkins
Here we have Peggy
McMakin multi-tasking.
Trying to make a round
bead (almost impossible)
and talking to Doug
Cross. Our Canadian
neighbor.
And here we have Roz Evans
our loyal customer and wife
of our in-house chef, John
Evans. Roz is diligently
working on making a bead,
(don't really know what kind,
round or what) just before Jo
set the table on fire. Behind
Roz we have the invincible
Elaine Johnson and Becky
Griffin's back.
Now, here we go. Elaine Johnson sitting behind a torch and having her eyes open.
Here we have our wonderful
teacher, Judy Peppers,
showing Elaine Johnson the
correct way to get the glass
to melt is to put it in the
flame, not 6 inches above the
flame.
